RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce is looking for a Business Analyst for a contract opportunity with an organization in the Overland Park, KS area. This is a new role that will require you to take ownership of various projects, primarily focused on software migrations and transitions within our retail and restaurant operations. The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless data flow and system performance.Responsibilities:
  • Drive and manage various business analysis projects, including software migrations, transitions, and deployments
  • Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements for new or modified systems
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights
  • Understand and leverage API infrastructure to ensure smooth data flow between systems
  • Conduct UAT testing to verify that data flows and system performance meet expectations
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, including technical and non-technical teams
  • Work within an Agile framework, utilizing Kanban boards for project management


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with software migrations, transitions, or deployments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft tools and technologies
  • Understanding of API infrastructure and data integration
  • Retail or restaurant domain knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with inventory management systems
  • Retail or restaurant industry experience
  • Knowledge of hardware and software systems
  • SQL proficiency (not strictly required)


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.

This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions.
