Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and software, requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. That’s why we need you, a seasoned network engineer who knows how to develop the exact network the U.S. Government needs.

As a network engineer on our team, you’ll use your experience in network engineering, cyber operations support, virtualization, and other valuable skills to support the nation’s defense and respond to evolving adversaries. You’ll design new networks, upgrade existing networks, virtualize environments, and react to fast-changing mission and client requirements in network engineering. You’ll apply your expertise in network design, engineering, implementation, virtualization, and cyber operations support as you guide our team of problem-solvers to enable the government to deploy new capabilities and technologies.

Your knowledge of network design, virtualization, and cyber operations will come in handy as you optimize client operations and modernization. Using your experience in network engineering, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to clients on mission-critical projects. Using your technical curiosity and knowledge of industry standards, you’ll make an impact on national security missions.

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience with providing IT systems support

  • Experience with network engineering

  • Experience with cloud or on-premises network engineering

  • Knowledge of Linux operating system

  • Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with major cloud services providers, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure

  • Experience with VMware, including hypervisor server environments

  • Experience with being an end-user of VMware and virtualizing environments

  • Experience with both server and end-user networking challenges

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
