Job Summary

Kaimetrix, L.L.C. is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer II to support our team at Fort Belvoir, VA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network design, implementation, and optimization, with a focus on ensuring performance, reliability, and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Design and Implementation:
    • Design, configure, and maintain physical and virtual network systems.
    • Implement and optimize network infrastructure to ensure high performance, reliability, and security.
    • Provide network design, configuration, and performance support to System Evaluators and Test Engineers for planned and scheduled events.
  • Troubleshooting and Support:
    • Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolutions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects and ensure network infrastructure meets organizational needs and objectives.
    • Provide engineering support for INSCOM, G-7 systems.
  • Network Security:
    • Implement network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and vulnerabilities.
    • Ensure compliance with DoD and Intelligence Community security policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPN.
  • Experience with networking hardware from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, or Arista.
  • Strong background in network design, implementation, and optimization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain access to NSA facilities and computer systems throughout the duration of the contract.
  • Current DoD Baseline Certification at IAT Level II or Higher.
Education and Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (technology preferred) with 5 years of experience, or 7 years of experience in network administration.
  • U.S. citizenship is required since this role supports the U.S. Federal government.
  • Ability to pass a background investigation.
  • Current DoD TOP SECRET Security Clearance and SCI Eligible.
