Environmental Monitoring Associate

Piper Companies is currently seeking a Environmental Monitoring Associate based in Durham, North Carolina for work at a leading pharmaceutical company.
***This is a second shift/night time opportunity--Wednesday to Saturday 4pm to 2:30am***
Responsibilities of the Environmental Monitoring Associate:
Conduct quality walk-throughs of the production, testing and warehouse locations Collect samples relating to carbon, surface, and air testing, perform gram staining, pH and conductivity testing Ensure that all required documents are accurate Oversee patient material receipt and drug product distribution Support routine preventive maintenance and calibration of equipmentQualifications of the Environmental Monitoring Associate:
0-2 years of relevant cGMP experience Experience in FDA/EMA regulations in biopharmaceuticals or cell therapy manufacturing Hands-on experience with batch record review and product disposition is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in relevant science or engineering discipline is preferred or Associates degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptedCompensation for the Environmental Monitoring Associate:
Salary Range: $29 - $35/hr Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, and HolidaysThis job opens for applications on 12/17/2024. Applications for this job will be accepted for at least 30 days from the posting date.
