Our client is adding to their Merchandise Marketing Team and is requesting an eCommerce Specialist Contractor to maintain the Gift Shop Website through the back-end operations and service the business's order management and Customer Service functions.
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
 
  • Technical Skills Proficiency in Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Salesforce Order Management.
  • Experience with eCommerce platforms and order management systems. Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and content management systems.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools like Google Analytics.
  • Order Management Responsibilities Processing sales orders and ensuring their accuracy.
  • Monitoring order status and ensuring timely delivery. Coordinating with departments such as sales, logistics, and warehousing. Using order management systems for tracking and managing orders. Handling returns and exchanges and resolving related customer service issues.
  • Customer Service Responsibilities Providing excellent customer service by addressing inquiries related to orders.
  • Communicating with customers regarding order status and resolving issues. Maintaining updated records of orders, suppliers, and customers.
 
REQUIREMENTS
 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as product availability and order fill rate.
  • Identifying cost reduction opportunities and efficiency improvements. Coordinating project workflows and ensuring timely project launches.
 
These requirements ensure that the specialist can effectively manage eCommerce operations, streamline order processes, and provide top-notch customer service.
