The Field Supervisoris responsible for day-to-day operations including facilitation ofinternal communication between field crews and management, outsidefacility interface, facilitating short-term scheduling needs,equipment, and supply maintenance, as well as other operationalsupport functions as assigned by the OperationsManager.

Responsibilities:
  • Interacts, assists, and supportscrews daily at the beginning and/or end of their shifts.
  • Direct, monitor, communicate with, andevaluate all field team members.
  • Ensuremaintenance of quality field operations through daily interaction,oversight, communication, and evaluation with field team members.
  • Prepares written feedback for team memberevaluations.
  • Proactive in approach today-to-day operations, implements process improvements.
  • Ensure PCR's and other field paperwork is100% reconciled daily in conjunction with the PCR processing.
  • Ensure 100% of operational responseexceptions are brought to closure with appropriate action.
  • Monitors truck cleanliness and truckmaintenance issues.
  • Works with crews tomaintain truck cleanliness and proper DHS levels.
  • Makes recommendations to the Training Managerand Clinical Specialist to improve various aspects of the trainingand QA/QI programs (This may include changes in specific studymaterials, technology, and standard operating policies, procedures,education, and training).
  • Provide teamcounseling and guidance and information regarding ABC Ambulanceoperations.
  • Promptly investigate incidentsinvolving assigned units or team members, including, filing ofinternal and external reports, and counseling.
  • Directs and leads support staff ininventorying, ordering, receiving, stocking, and issuing medicaland shop equipment and supplies.
  • Ensuremaintenance of adequate levels of staffing, equipment and medicalsupplies for field units.
  • Implement andenforce company policies and standards.
  • Perform direct ALS patient care activities.
  • Maintain communication with other agencies and departments.
  • Serve on committees with other departments toset policies and generate ideas.
  • Communicatecompany goals and standards of excellence through exemplary dailyjob performance, attitude, initiative, and demeanor.
  • Prepare reports and manages projects asassigned by Operations Supervisor or Operations Manager.
  • Maintain availability during disastersituations or mass casualty incidents and assist in any capacityneeded.
  • Champion affirmative action effortsin all aspects of employment, including but not limited tostaffing, training, promotion, etc. Responsible for compliance withand enforcement of company/department policies and procedures.

Minimum RequiredQualifications:
  • Highschool diploma or GED.
  • Current Paramediccertification required.
  • Current CPR, PHTLS,and ACLS certification, or equivalent credentials.
  • Three years EMS experience required.
  • Paramedic field experience preferred.
