Job Title: Special Education Teacher - K-6th Grade, Full-Time On-Site
Location: Boston, MA Area
Employer: Soliant Education
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join a school district in the Boston, MA area. This position is full-time, on-site, and involves working with students from Kindergarten to 6th grade for the 2024-2025 school year.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide specially designed instruction to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support and academic success for students.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by district policies and special education regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or related field.
- Massachusetts Special Education Teacher certification/license.
- Experience working with K-6th grade students preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
