DCCA is looking to staff a Senior-Level Systems Engineer position to support a new, prime contract for a Government program that delivers important technical solutions and products using emerging technologies for processing significantly large amounts of data. Program technical areas include commercial cloud technologies, high performance computing, and enterprise architecture. The program is tactically important to the national security of the United States and the work on these missions are frequently recognized for their results. Current, active TS/SCI clearance with poly required.

DCCA’s Program team is searching for highly skilled, senior-level Systems Engineer to be a part of our team. The ideal candidate will be interested in executing legacy- to cloud-based transitions in a team environment and should possess the following qualifications:

· Applies systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement.Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineeringtechnicalconsiderationsandforassociatedproblems,issues or conflicts. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. Responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288:

o TechnicalProcessArea-StakeholderRequirementsDefinition, Requirements Analysis, Architectural Design, Implementation, Integration,Verification,Transition,Validation,Operation, Maintenance,and Disposal.

o ProjectProcessArea-ProjectPlanning,ProjectAssessmentand Control, Decision Management, Risk Management, Configuration Management, Information Management, and Measurement.

o Enterprise(OrganizationalProject-Enabling)ProcessArea-Project Portfolio Management, Infrastructure Management, Lifecycle Model Management, Human Resource Management, and Quality Management.

o AgreementProcessArea-AcquisitionandSupply.

REQUIRED SKILLS/TASKS:

· The following demonstrated experience performing tasks related to one or more of the following areas:

o Contributestothedevelopmentofsectionsofsystemsengineeringdocumentationsuch as SystemEngineeringPlans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirementsspecifications, and Interface Control Documents.

o Manages system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture(s) – DepartmentofDefenseArchitectureFramework(DoDAF),Service-orientedArchitecture.

o Assistswiththeallocationofthesametoindividualhardware,software,facility,and personnel components.

o Coordinates the resolution of action items fromConfiguration Control Board (CCB) meetings,designreviews,programreviews,andtestreviewsthatrequirecross-discipline coordination.

o Performanalysisoftechnicalalternativesforaprojectandmakepreliminary recommendations.

o AssistinperformingsystemsengineeringactivitiesintheISO/IEC15288Agreementor Enterprise Process Areas.

o Performsystemsengineeringactivitiesandassistinthepreparationofmultiplework products in Project and Technical Process Areas associated with the ISO/IEC 15288.

o DevelopanddeliveraworkproductinanyoftheISO/IEC15288ProcessAreas.

o Performsystemsengineeringactivitiesanddevelopanddeliverworkproductsineach of the ISO/IEC 15288 Project and Technical Process Areas.

o Independentlyanalyzeandrecommendalternativesforelementsofproject’stechnical design.

o Performsystemsengineeringactivitiesanddevelopanddeliverworkproductsofeither the ISO/IEC 15288 Agreement or Enterprise Process Areas.

o Assistindevelopinganeworinnovativeapproachtoatechnicalorengineeringissue.

o Assistinconductinganevaluationtodetermineitssuitabilityforproject implementation.

o Analyzeandproposeappropriateengineeringstandardsandprocessesforaproject.

o Superviseorcoordinatetheworkofothercontractorengineersortechniciansona project.

o Leadcontractorsystemsengineeringactivitiesforaprojecttoincludesupervisingthe work of the project engineering staff and technicians.

o ApprovedeliveryofworkproductsofmultipleProcessesAreasdefinedintheISO/IEC 15288.

o Independentlymakedecisionsregardingengineeringissuesandmethodologyfora project.

o Briefstakeholdersandpresentthestatusonalltechnicalaspectsoftheir project.

o ServeasaSubjectMatterExpertinoneormoreProcessAreasdefinedintheISO/IEC 15288.

o Plan and develop engineering projects with unique or complex aspects that impact majorcapabilitiesofhighprioritytotheenterprise.

o Independentlyresolveimportant engineering issues requiring the use of advanced technology.

DESIRED SKILLS:

EDUCATION:

· AHighSchoolDiplomaorGEDplustwenty-four(24)yearsofgeneralsystemsengineering experience.

· ABachelor’sdegreeinaQualifiedEngineeringFieldorarelated discipline fromanaccreditedcollegeor universityplustwenty(20)yearsofsystemsengineeringexperience.

· AMaster’sdegreeinaQualifiedEngineeringFieldorarelated discipline fromanaccreditedcollegeoruniversitypluseighteen(18)yearsofsystemsengineeringexperience.

OR
