Speech-Language Pathologist Position Available in East Liverpool, OH
Soliant is currently in search of an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our vibrant school-based team. As an SLP with us, you'll have the chance to significantly impact the lives of individuals facing communication and swallowing challenges.
Job Details:
Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist
Employment Type: Full-time Contract
Duration: August 15th to November 4th, 2024
Location: East Liverpool, OH
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose communication and swallowing disorders.
Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings, student objectives, and evidence-based methodologies.
Administer therapeutic interventions encompassing speech and language therapy, voice modulation, fluency enhancement, and swallowing therapy.
Employ a diverse array of techniques and approaches to enhance communication proficiency, refine speech articulation, and foster language development.
Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and fellow professionals to offer guidance and assistance to students dealing with communication challenges.
Regularly monitor and document progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans and providing ongoing assessment of outcomes.
Qualifications:
Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Possess a valid and active state licensure or eligibility for SLP licensure.
Preferred certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
Previous experience working with diverse age groups and populations is highly advantageous.
Demonstrate solid familiarity with assessment tools, therapeutic methodologies, and evidence-based approaches in speech-language pathology.
