Caseload: K-3rd grade students, 15-20 students, Resource room

Requirements:

  • Must be licensed in Illinois
  • Possess a Professional Educator License (PEL)

Job Description: Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Zion, Illinois. The selected candidate will be responsible for working with K-3rd grade students in a resource room setting, serving a caseload of 15-20 students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children with diverse learning needs and will be committed to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
  • Provide direct instruction to students in small group and one-on-one settings
  • Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to ensure the success of students
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student achievement and progress

Pay: $30-35/hour
