Position Description 

Epic Special Education is partnering with an exceptional school district who is looking for several contract School Language Arts Interventionists for the 2023-2024 school year.

• Location: Zion, IL
• Duration: Immediately - May 24, 2024
• Onsite or Virtual: On-Site
• Full or Part Time: Full Time
• Schedule: 37.5 hours/week; Pre-K: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 8:45AM-3:45PM; Wednesday 8:00AM-3:45PM; Elementary and Middle School: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 7:45AM-2:45PM; Wednesday 7:45AM-3:30PM
• Grade/Age Levels: Pre-K to 8th-Grade

Qualifications

The minimum qualifications for a School Language Arts Interventionist:

• 1 year of verifiable professional experience with provision of ABA, positive behavior supports, and crisis intervention for students with emotional disabilities in the school setting is preferred
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree and educational coursework completed in the areas of: Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Child Development, Special Education, Psychology or a related field
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States and will be asked for proof upon hire. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
