- Test resolving software and hardware complications while documenting test methods and procedures. Analyze and interpret test data. Perform unit testing, system testing, integrity testing, and regression testing.
- Perform software distribution, installation, and implementation of application builds and releases over system test configurations, including multi-level OS customization for desired functionality.
- Assemble experimental circuitry (breadboard) or complete prototype models according to engineering instructions, technical manuals, and knowledge of electronic systems and components.
- Install and maintain primary and redundant servers for the corporate LAN.
- Write technical reports and develop charts, graphs, and schematics to describe and illustrate system's operating characteristics, malfunctions, deviations from design specifications, and functional limitations for consideration by engineers.
- Interface with customers and contract manufacturers.
- Provide internal and field training for unit and system testing.
- Provide failure analysis, field support, and troubleshooting recommendations.
- Perform site surveys and system installations at FAA sites.
- Knowledge of various computer software and hardware platforms at FAA sites and in general.
- Skill in collecting, analyzing, and summarizing specific data.
- Ability to use a variety of instrumentation techniques.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experienced with hand tools and small power tools.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions.
- High School diploma with technical school required. BS or Associates degree preferred.
- 5-7 years of related experience and/or training.
- Experience using electronic test equipment.
