  • Assist in identifying, tracking, evaluating and mitigating technical, financial and schedule risks -- participate in the PEB and contractor risk management processes.
  • Provide formal and informal feedback to the Branch Chief on all aspects of program status.
  • Coordinate across the SPO for any proposed changes; support requirements activities with the development contractors. Assist in flow down of requirements from higher-level documents.
  • Monitor, review and support payload, subsystem, and unit test and verification/validation planning and execution. Coordinate SME review and perform independent assessments of validation and verification adequacy.
  • Attend segment level design reviews and program management reviews to assess design maturity, requirements compliance and to provide informed technical recommendations to the USG.
  • Identify and assess emerging risks; develop and evaluate proposed burn-down plans.
  • Support technical evaluations of contractor proposals.
  • Review complex technical design documentation and provide formal and informal feedback to the COTR, Subject Matter Experts, and other customer personnel.
  • Consult with mission analysis and acquisition teams to ensure completeness across the acquisition.
  • Develop productive relationships with prime contractor counterparts, functional counterparts, and other spacecraft subsystem subject matter experts.
  • Advise and mentor USG Payload Branch personnel regarding satellite digital signal processing equipment requirements and verification.
  • Evaluate contractor analysis and deliver analytic findings to the customer.
  • Support and assist the customer in oversight of major program development milestones.
  • Evaluate vendor schedules and resource estimates to perform work.
  • Support payload activation and characterization.
  • Other duties as specified by the customer.

Required Qualifications:
