Entry Level Accounting

Are you a recent college graduate eager to start your career in accounting and gain valuable experience in the real estate industry? Our client, a growing real estate company in Orange County, is looking for a motivated entry-level professional to join their team. This role offers the perfect opportunity to develop your skills in both accounting and administrative functions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Financial Record Maintenance: Accurately record and maintain financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Invoice Processing: Review invoices and vendor bills for accuracy, prepare payment requests, and ensure timely processing.
- Data Entry & Reporting: Enter and update financial data, generate reports, and ensure the accuracy of all financial records.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile bank and credit card statements, investigate discrepancies, and ensure accurate reporting.
- Audit Support: Assist with financial audits by organizing and providing required documentation and records.
- Administrative Support: Manage filing systems for financial and operational records, schedule meetings, and assist with correspondence and office organization.
- General Assistance: Support the team with other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in accounting or related fields; exposure to administrative work is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.); experience with accounting software is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Traits:
- Dependable, self-motivated, and proactive.
- Able to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment.

- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.
