The Opportunity:

True progress is made at the intersection of business and tech, and as an IT Requirements analyst, you’re highly skilled in both. Here, you’ll have the chance to work with an Agile team as they develop digital products to support our clients’ most pressing missions, propel business analytics and processes forward, and delve into technology trends to deliver user-friendly client experiences.

The role of an IT Requirements analyst is crucial in any software development project, as they define what the system should do, how it should do it, and why technical changes are needed. An IT Requirements analyst is the person who elicits, analyzes, validates, and manages the requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

In this role you will:

  • Work with client IT applications and systems to capture and define system requirements and associated business processes.
  • Work with stakeholders to elicit and define requirements and translate them into system requirements for developers to implement.
  • Translate and document business needs, processes, and procedures into detailed user stories, process charts and workflows, and standard operating procedures.
  • Coordinate with developers and testers to ensure understanding of requirements.
  • Support implementation of tools and features that meet needs and requirements of the client systems.

Join us. The world can’t wait.

You Have:

  • Experience working collaboratively with team members, clients, and stakeholders
  • Knowledge of technical requirements and business process best practices
  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle
  • Ability to think critically, and use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
  • Ability to break down complex problems, identify dependencies and constraints, resolve conflicts, and prioritize needs
  • Ability to learn new technologies and concepts
  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced work environment, adjust quickly to changing priorities, and make progress in areas where high ambiguity and uncertainty exists
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience supporting the Intelligence Community (IC)
  • Experience with using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
  • Experience with Agile tools, including Jira
  • Experience with writing technical requirements as features or user stories
  • Experience with business process improvement and working and collaborating with technical staff and engineers
  • Experience with systems engineering or software development
  • Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle Process and Agile development
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent documentation, organization, interpersonal, and analytical skills

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
