Job Title: Front Office Software Developer
Direct Hire - NO C2C
Hybrid in Norwalk, CT 

Must Haves: 

  • Commodities trading experience or  asset mgmt trade desk experience 

  • Python, SQL, AWS

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Commercial Trading teams to optimize trading processes and models.
  • Develop cloud-native solutions for integration within a Firmwide Front Office IT platform.
  • Partner with Data Science team to create advanced analytic tools, including machine-learning platforms.
  • Develop software to support commercial activity and market data analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 7+ years of professional programming experience in financial services or energy commodity domain.
  • Advanced Python development skills and strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies, preferably AWS.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Desired Experience: Snowflake, DevOps practices, container technologies (Docker & Kubernetes).
