Quality Control Lab Technician Job Details:
  • Schedule: Mon – Fri -  6:30am – 3:00pm 
  • Pay Rate: $24.04 an hour 
  • Temp-to-Hire opportunity
  • Contract to Hire

Quality Control Lab Technician Job Description:
  • Assists with research, quantitative and qualitative analysis, synthesis, and experimentation on substances, for such purposes as quality control, product and process development and application.
  • Perform testing on production batches using the following tests: pH, viscosity, density, solids, titrations, degree Baume.
  • Manage database for sample, production retains and documentation from production.
  • Provide support to the manufacturing processes by giving guidance to adjust batch formulations if a batch is not within product specifications.
  • Perform incoming quality control of raw materials to make sure they are to specification.  Accept or reject depending on test results.

Quality Control Lab Technician Job Requirements:
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
