#### **About the Position:**

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2024/2025 school year in Rochester, NY. This is a full-time position working with high school students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. We are looking for a professional who is committed to making a positive impact on students' lives and contributing to their academic success.

#### **Key Responsibilities:**

- **Assessment & Evaluation:** Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech and language abilities, including articulation, fluency, voice, and language skills.
- **Individualized Education Plans (IEPs):** Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet each student's unique needs and goals.
- **Therapeutic Intervention:** Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy to help students improve their communication skills and overall academic performance.
- **Collaboration:** Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' speech and language development within the classroom setting.
- **Progress Monitoring:** Regularly monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy approaches as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
- **Compliance:** Ensure all services are provided in compliance with state and federal regulations, including IDEA and other applicable laws.

#### **Qualifications:**

- **Education:** Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- **Certification:** ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred; NY state licensure or eligibility required.
- **Experience:** Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable, particularly at the high school level.
- **Skills:** Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
