**Job Type:** Full-Time, School Year Position (2024/2025)

In our continuous pursuit of student success and well-being, we are seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the upcoming 2024/2025 school year. This position will focus on serving a PreK-5th grade caseload.

**Position Overview:**
As a Full-Time School Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play an integral role in supporting the communication and language development of our students. Collaborating closely with educators, support staff, and families, you will assess students' communication abilities, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy services to help students achieve their academic goals.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language skills.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of students in PreK-5th grade.
- Provide direct therapy services targeting a variety of speech and language disorders, including articulation, fluency, voice, and language delays.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and classroom activities.
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians to provide updates on students' progress and offer recommendations for support at home.
- Actively participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and school-wide initiatives aimed at supporting students' success and enhancing the school community.

**Qualifications:**
- Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Possess a valid license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Illinois.
- Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or be eligible for certification.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Demonstrate compassion, patience, and a genuine commitment to meeting the communication needs of students.
