Occupational Therapist - Mohave Valley, AZ

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Mohave Valley, AZ. This full-time position is for the duration of the school year, from July 26, 2024, to May 23, 2025. The OT will manage a caseload of 60-80 students, with support from Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).

Position Details:

  • Location: Mohave Valley, AZ
  • Dates: July 26, 2024 - May 23, 2025
  • Employment Type: Full-time, Contract
  • Hours: 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine students occupational therapy needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve students functional abilities and independence.
  • Provide direct therapy services and collaborate with COTAs and SLPAs to ensure continuity of care.
  • Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into students educational plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
  • Valid Arizona state license or ability to obtain licensure.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
