Location: Peoria, Arizona

Job Description:

We are excited to announce an opening for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Peoria, Arizona. This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of students by delivering specialized speech and language therapy services, tailored to their individual needs and enhancing their overall academic experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) to address specific communication challenges.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school professionals to monitor and support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student achievements, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering expert advice and recommendations based on assessment findings.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements and best practices in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Active Arizona State License in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Arizona Department of Education Speech-Language Pathologist Certification (or eligibility for certification).
  • Experience in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
