Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our elementary school team in Castle Rock, CO. The SLPA will collaborate with a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language support to elementary-aged students. The ideal candidate will play a key role in helping students develop essential communication skills for their academic and social success. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the supervising SLP with screenings, assessments, and treatment plans.
- Implement IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals under the guidance of the SLP.
- Monitor and document student progress.
- Provide speech and language support to elementary students with various communication needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
- Valid SLPA license in the state of Colorado (or eligibility to obtain).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students is a plus.
