Soliant Health, a leading healthcare staffing provider, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in the Dudley School District for the upcoming school year. This is a full-time position, offering 35 hours per week, and it is an onsite position. Responsibilities:

  • Assist the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist in conducting assessments and screenings to identify students with speech and language disorders
  • Provide direct therapy services to students under the guidance and supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Implement individualized treatment plans designed by the supervising SLP
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' speech and language goals
  • Monitor and document students' progress and report findings to the supervising SLP
  • Assist in the preparation of materials and resources for therapy sessions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field
  • Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Previous experience working with children in a school or clinical setting is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
