Title: Pharmacist
Location: Norwich, NY
Duration: Direct Hire, Contract, or Contract to Hire
Schedule: Variable - Evenings required at times
Hours: Schedule is4x10 or 4x12 schedules (i.e., 8am-8pm)

Duties:

  • Registers with state board of pharmacy as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge.
  • Maintains the pharmacy in compliance with federal, state, and board of pharmacy regulations, as well as company policies.
  • Manages pharmacy operations to achieve financial goals, including budgeting, payroll, scheduling, and inventory management.
  • Engages in business development activities in-store and within the community.
  • Provides guidance and training to pharmacy associates, ensuring adherence to regulatory and company policies.
  • Participates in patient-centered services such as immunization, MTM, and wellness programs.
  • Counsels patients and medical providers on drug usage, dosage, interactions, and side effects.
  • Ensures patient safety through continuous quality improvement programs.
  • Maintains a clean and organized workstation, consistent with legal and company standards.
  • Completes required continuing education programs as per state law.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Ideal Candidate:

  • NY License
  • Immunization Certification (Required)
  • Comfortable administering all vaccines (Required)
