Department Summary:

Do you have a Project Management background and an interest in Operational Technology (OT), Control Systems, or cyber? Have you learned about or worked with OT/Control Systems and have an interest in business and project management? The Cyber Infrastructure Protection Innovation Center is seeking a business operations and project manager in the Modeling, Intelligence, and Sim for Critical Infrastructure department (L542).

Job Description:

  • Work with MITRE Project Leader to perform project planning functions such as schedule management, stakeholder management and resource identification.
  • Maintain project schedules and develop materials to meet project reporting requirements and key project deadlines.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation, and track project budgets.
  • Perform risk analysis and management to minimize project risks, and maintain project risk logs.
  • Participate in functional teams and help develop strategies and objectives for team members to execute.
  • Conduct analyses, develop diagrams, and process maps to document sponsor needs.
  • Compile and maintain comprehensive project knowledge management resources, and then transfer that knowledge to others.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
