Position Overview: We are seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to work 30 hours per week, from 8 am to 2 pm, Monday through Friday, during the period of July 1st to August 7th. In this role, you will provide direct therapy services to individuals of various ages, assessing their functional abilities and developing customized treatment plans to address their occupational challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' physical, cognitive, sensory, and emotional capabilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals.
- Provide hands-on therapy and therapeutic exercises to improve clients' fine motor skills, coordination, sensory integration, and activities of daily living.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and caregivers to educate and train on therapeutic techniques and home exercises.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for licensure in Delaware.
- Prior experience in a clinical or educational setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with clients of all ages and backgrounds.
