Overview of Unit/Department

Join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals who are committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive women's healthcare services. We are located in the Turner Center on the Cox South Campus in Springfield. Our clinic fosters a flexible and supportive work environment with a teamwork mindset. With a wide range of clinical experiences, we pride ourselves on having a highly driven team motivated to carry out the vision of being the best for those who need us.   • Job Summary
    • The LPN performs administrative duties that include, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and data entry in medical records. Clinical duties will include measuring and recording vital signs, collecting demographics and medical information including review of medication list, preparing patients for examination, cleaning rooms and equipment and stocking supplies. This position will involve the administration of medications as ordered by the physician. Performs specific competencies as directed by the department.
  • Job Requirements
    • Education
      • Required: Graduate of an accredited License Practical Nursing program
    • Experience
      • Required: None
      • Preferred: Previous nursing experience in healthcare, particularly in an ambulatory clinic setting
    • Skills
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
      • Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams.
      • Carry out delegated tasks independently or with provider oversite
      • Proficient Computer skills
    • Licensure/Certification/Registration
      • Required: License Practical Nurse active in the state of Missouri
      • Must obtain American Heart Association BLS within 90 days of hire
      • Preferred: IV certification in State of Missouri
