Description

SAIC is looking for  a Technical Services Analyst to provide technical support to Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Space Acquisition and Integration (SAF/SQ) and support staff by installing, upgrading, diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging computer systems, complex software, and networked systems.  Member of small team that responds to situations as first-line product support to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software.  Coordinates with Pentagon IT and facility offices for problem resolution, equipment issues, and tracking compliance. Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems or software issues along with solution recommendations to government customer.  Provides support to customer/users on Video Teleconferencing configurations across a number of offices the customer occupies in the Pentagon.  Supports customer with facilities management, scheduling, tracking, and equipment (including SCIFs, and SAPFs).  

Responsibilities shall include but are not limited to:  

·         Resolve or facilitate resolution of end user questions and issues by providing best practice solutions for desktop, network, hardware, and software technical problems to SAF/SQ members across multiple networks (NIPR, SIPR, BICES, JWICS, NMIS, SPRG).

·         Coordinate with internal and external information technology service providers to perform problem analysis and achieve resolution of problems in a timely manner, and when appropriate and required escalate to appropriate personnel to assist in resolution.

·         Assist with SharePoint and site management for Public, AF Portal, IntelShare and DAF SharePoint Online sites.

·         Provide Site Management/Site Collection Administration by performing end- user requirements gathering and definition support for web-portal based systems.

·         Assist the Government in developing the intended functional requirements, writing, and managing the detail design, and reviewing and clarifying any questions or issues.

·         Perform preventative maintenance duties on technology related equipment and facilities to assure superior/trouble free functionality.

·         Assist the Government in defining solution approaches; improving site design and functionality; and creating custom workflows.

·         Provide assistance and support to maintain and execute SAF/SQ facility agreements, manage supplies and equipment, and maintain and repair facilities and equipment to ensure organizational compliance with required standards.

·         Provide the support needed to operate the SAF/SQ’s meeting and conference facilities at all SAF/SQ locations in the Pentagon, including set-up.

·         Provide Information Systems Security Officer duties for SAF/SQ, to include: software and hardware issues, account access, data transfers, scanning, and copying data to/from external media.

Qualifications

Bachelors and five (5) years or more of relevant experience in Computer Science, Computer Information system SharePoint Administration or Information Technology Services Support  Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience

Must have an active DoD Top Secret with SCI access.

US Citizenship required.

Previous Client Service Technician or Designated IT Representative experience.

Share-Point site access management  and subsite creation experience or willingness to learn.

Background and training in the application of various knowledge management and collaborative tools including MS SharePoint and SharePoint Designer.

Detail oriented and motivated self-starter able to work independently to complete objections. 

Excellent communication skills to work directly with military/government and contractors.

Able to use problem solving skills to identify and troubleshoot issues and manage complex projects, generate alternatives, if needed, and make recommendations. 

Experience as with US government records management.

Experience in coordinating facilities support in an office environment.
