Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to join our team and help steer our continued growth in the Baltimore market. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for classic rock music, a proven track record in sales management, embrace and understand our industry’s emerging technological platforms, and demonstrate the ability to lead a team towards achieving ambitious sales targets.

Responsibilities: 

  1. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and collective sales goals. 
  2. Account Management: Oversee and manage account lists, ensuring effective client relationship management and retention strategies.
  3. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to capitalize on market opportunities and maximize revenue generation.
  4. Meeting Coordination: Facilitate team meetings, set agendas, and ensure follow-up on action items to drive accountability and productivity. 
  5. Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze sales metrics to evaluate team performance and identify areas for improvement.
  6. Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring satisfaction.
  7. Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform sales strategies and decision-making.
  8. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as marketing, programming, and operations to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives.
  9. Budget Management: Assist in the development and management of the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve targets.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred). 
  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the media or advertising industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Proficiency in sales management software and CRM systems. 
  • Knowledge of the Baltimore market and local advertising landscape is a plus.
