Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated School Occupational Therapist (OT) for a travel assignment in Taylor, MI. In this role, you will work collaboratively with students, educators, and families to promote the development of essential skills needed for academic success and daily living activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, focusing on fine motor skills, sensory integration, and self-regulation.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement strategies that facilitate student participation and engagement in the classroom.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Educate parents and caregivers on techniques to support their childs development at home.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure in Occupational Therapy.
  • Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel and adapt to new environments.
