Currently, ourNavy Aviation Divisionis seeking a motivated, career and customer-orientedAdministrative Security Assistantto join our team in theCrane, IN. This is aonsiteposition.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide administrative and organization support for a NSWC Crane Department, to include assistance performing Administrative Security related duties

  • Perform administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing, and maintaining paper & electronic files, records scanning and management, and providing information to callers

  • Support of Security related Facility Management items, to include inventory of safes & content, and security container combination changes

  • Handling of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in the course of daily duties


Basic Qualifications:

  • High School or GED with three (3) years of professional experience relevant to DoD Security Administrative support, space access control, and office tasking

  • Proficiency working with computers and data entry software applications

  • Experience tracking and managing AV/IT resources and conference room scheduling

  • Assist with setup and execution of logistics needs for meetings

  • Experience working with base and building support personnel to ensure admin, IT, and security infrastructure maintenance is provided


Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least three (3) years of Security related administrative experience at NAVSEA or Navy DoD environment operating; NAVSEA Corporate Applications, Defense Travel System (DTS), Defense Information System for Security (DISS), Base Access Security Information Control System (Basics II), Share Point, Government developed databases, and maintaining/coordinating calendars and schedules

  • Experience with Microsoft Teams applications

  • BS/BA degree, or AS/AA degree plus three (3) years additional Administrative experience


Clearance Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship and current TS/SCI Clearance required


Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
