Currently, ourNavy Aviation Divisionis seeking a motivated, career and customer-orientedAdministrative Security Assistantto join our team in theCrane, IN. This is aonsiteposition.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide administrative and organization support for a NSWC Crane Department, to include assistance performing Administrative Security related duties
Perform administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing, and maintaining paper & electronic files, records scanning and management, and providing information to callers
Support of Security related Facility Management items, to include inventory of safes & content, and security container combination changes
Handling of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in the course of daily duties
Basic Qualifications:
High School or GED with three (3) years of professional experience relevant to DoD Security Administrative support, space access control, and office tasking
Proficiency working with computers and data entry software applications
Experience tracking and managing AV/IT resources and conference room scheduling
Assist with setup and execution of logistics needs for meetings
Experience working with base and building support personnel to ensure admin, IT, and security infrastructure maintenance is provided
Preferred Qualifications:
At least three (3) years of Security related administrative experience at NAVSEA or Navy DoD environment operating; NAVSEA Corporate Applications, Defense Travel System (DTS), Defense Information System for Security (DISS), Base Access Security Information Control System (Basics II), Share Point, Government developed databases, and maintaining/coordinating calendars and schedules
Experience with Microsoft Teams applications
BS/BA degree, or AS/AA degree plus three (3) years additional Administrative experience
Clearance Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship and current TS/SCI Clearance required
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
Move about freely in an office / laboratory setting
