**Overview:**

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the Extended School Year (ESY) program for the 2023-2024 academic year in Thomaston, CT. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a supportive school district and make a significant impact on students' communication skills and overall academic success.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' learning and communication needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided and progress towards goals.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.

**Qualifications:**

- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Connecticut state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and educational staff.
