Come join our dedicated landscape team, where you’ll helpnurture, preserve, and enhance the unique beauty and charm of our world-classresort.
As a Landscape Maintenance Technician with KohlerHospitality, you’ll be responsible for:
- Installation of landscape features which may include: herbaceous and woody plants, turf, irrigation, and holiday/seasonal decorations.
- Maintenance of landscape properties according to established contracts which may include: watering, turf mowing, weeding, hard surface care, pruning, mulching, and IPM.
- Maintenance and operation of equipment necessary to perform above tasks which may include but nis not limited to: leaf blowers, hand tools, string trimmers, push and riding mowers, chain saws, skid steers, tractors, pickup trucks, and golf carts.
- Assisting with snow removal responsibilities according to established contracts for the various Corporate grounds and Destination Kohler businesses.
- Snow removal duties may include shoveling, application of ice melt material, snow plowing, the operation of snow blowers and power brushes.
- Performing any other work as assigned by Landscape Management Team.
We have full-time and part-time opportunities available. Thehours are 6:30am-3:30pm, weekdays and may include the occasional weekend.
Skills/Requirements
- 2-3 years of landscaping experience is preferred
- Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
- Wisconsin Commercial Pesticide Applicators Certification, or the ability to obtain upon hire
