Soliant has partnered with a school district near Dekalb, IL and is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant for this school year. This will be a long-term substitute position, for 8-10 weeks, with the opportunity to renew for the next school year.

Applicants will be working with K-5 students. Work hours are 8:30 AM to 3:45 PM.

Duties include:

  • Under the supervision of an SLP, providing speech and/or language therapy to students identified with communication disorders.
  • Maintaining accurate data and service records of students on caseload
  • Consulting with SLP and school staff on student progress
  • Adapting therapy activities in accordance with student response

Requirements:

  • Illinois SLPA license
