We're hiring aFlight Nurse to work with our team ofair transportation experts to safely transport patients to and frommedical facilities as well as scene call work. Safety, effectiveand efficient patient care is a key pillar of our services,therefore you'll work on a quality, professional team that iscommitted to high safety standards for the crew and ourcustomers.
Responsibilities:
- FlightNurses will assess each situation to determine the best course ofaction to support, monitor and treat patients in critical caresituations
- Utilize critical thinking skills tomanage the critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patient andsupport physicians' orders
- Take pride inproviding a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment,maintains regular equipment and base checks, and complies withsafety standards and briefings
- Workcollaboratively and effectively communicates in a professionalmanner with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews,facilities, and partners
- Share shift changeinfo to transitioning team and follow protocols to maintainaccurate company and regulatory documentation andrecords
- Nurses are accountable to maintainrequired certifications and ongoing training required for theposition
OtherResponsibilities:
- Committedto being on-time, reliable, professional, and meeting our elevatedstandards in safety andservice
MinimumRequiredQualifications:
- Minimum3 years of recent experience in critical care clinicalsetting
- Maintains current licensure orcertification in at least one state (and any applicable states)
- Current driver'slicense
- Current American Heart Association(AHA) certifications - BCLS, ACLS,PALS
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider - ProvidedDuring Orientation
- Transport Provider AdvancedTrauma Course (TPATC) within 1 year of hiredate
- Specialty certification (CFRN) within 2years of hire date
- Excellent Communication andinterpersonalskills
Preferences:
- Instructorcertifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP,TPATC)
- Previous air medical transportexperience
- BSN / MSN
- PriorEMS experience
