Job Description: Soliant Education is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Clinton, LA. As an SLPA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech and language therapy services to students within a school setting. This is a full-time position contracted through the remainder of the academic year.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of speech and language therapy interventions as directed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Work collaboratively with the educational team to support the individual needs of students.
  • Provide direct support to students in individual or group therapy sessions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
  • Assist in the preparation of materials and resources for therapy sessions.
  • Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant or related field.
  • Current SLPA license or certification in the state of Louisiana.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
