Position Description: This position supports software development and engineering efforts under ASRC Federal’s CECOM SETA Support within the PEO EIS MSP. The PEO EIS MSP ensures that the U.S. Army’s software applications are efficiently designed, developed, and maintained to meet operational demands. As a Software Developer Senior I, you will be responsible for designing and developing software applications, creating tools and interfaces, and ensuring secure coding practices in compliance with DoD standards.

 

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow and its capabilities, including the ServiceNow platform, scripting languages, and database management.
  • Experience developing dashboards, reports, and integrating with other platforms, such as virtual task boards.
  • Experience with web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming languages, such as Java or C#.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • ServiceNow certification (such as Certified Implementation Specialist or Certified Administrator) required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or another Engineering or Technical discipline is required.
  • Must have 5 years within the last 7 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining software for various engineering applications.
  • Experience working with analysts to understand their analytic or interface requirements.
  • Experience developing tools and interfaces.
  • Ability to design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software applications.
  • Experience setting operational specifications and formulating and analyzing software requirements.
  • Experience designing embedded systems software.
  • Cybersecurity Requirements: IA Technical Level: IAT-1, Personnel Security Standards: IT-II, Position Sensitivity Designation: Noncritical-sensitive (ADP-II), Federal Investigative Standards: TIER 3.
  • Must be U.S citizen eligible for a Secret security clearance.
