THE WORK

F-35 Maintenance Trainer: Candidate will work as F-35 Weapons and Egress Systems Instructor/Subject Matter Expert (SME) and conduct F-35 Weapons and Egress systems academic & hands-on training to F-35 customers at Eglin Air Force Base, FL. Conduct classroom academic lectures, demonstrate practical removal and Installation tasks of all types of munitions as well as Ejection seat and Canopy. Monitor computer based training, and provide academics, testing and evaluation of practical tasks. Also includes remedial student training, revision and development of student training lesson plans and associated training materials, and syllabi. Ensures classroom/laboratory/learning center and equipment are operational and ready for training. Must have the ability to travel to CONUS and OCONUS Sites for support. Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, work at heights, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist. Additional duties and related responsibilities will be assigned as required. Will work closely with other members of the Lockheed Martin Training Team to achieve F-35 Maintenance Training objectives. Will implement and support Lockheed Martin initiatives, programs and policies as directed. Comply with site security and access control procedures in accordance with JSF Program and customer procedures. Must have worked in an environment which required them to interact with multiple functional areas and personnel of a diverse nature. Candidate required to work a flexible schedule aligned to customer operational needs, 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift

Basic Qualifications:
Must have knowledge in the operation and integration of 4th and 5th generation fighter weapons and egress systems with 3-5 years in Fighter aircraft maintenance experience.
Must have experience in academic and/or OJT training on 5th generation military fighter aircraft.
Active Secret Clearance with investigation within 5 years. Previous qualified / certified Instructor
Desired Skills:
Desired F-35 Weapons and Egress Systems working experience.
Desired Weapons/Egress instructor experience.
Working knowledge of the ALIS system related to Mechanical/Weapons/Egress systems.
Desired F-35 training instructor experience.
Has more than 1000 hrs. of formal instructor time in the classroom and
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
