Join our team at one of the largest independent specialty pharmacies specializing in rare diseases and cancer medications. We re seeking enthusiastic candidates to fill over 20 Patient Access/Benefit Verification Representative positions.

Location: North Fort Worth/Alliance area (100% On-Site)
Pay: $21.35/hr
Schedule: Monday Friday, shifts available between 8 AM - 8 PM EST. Flexibility for overtime and weekends.
Training: 8 AM - 5 PM for 4 weeks; work schedules will be provided after training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter and manage all communications and documentation in the client platform.

  • Utilize available resources to secure copay assistance for patients and communicate these options to providers and patients.

  • Update providers on patient status and document these updates in the client platform.

  • Initiate prior authorizations based on clinical notes from providers via online portal, phone, or fax.

  • Assist patients with completing applications for financial assistance and follow up to ensure all applications are complete.

  • Track and manage applications with third-party entities until an assistance determination is made.

  • Handle inbound calls from patients, clients, physicians, and clinics regarding services, financial support programs, and application inquiries.

  • Coordinate with the Patient Benefit team to begin the pharmacy dispensing process once assistance outcomes are determined.

  • Triage prescriptions to preferred pharmacies or hub providers when direct service is not possible.

  • Report adverse events (AEs) and product complaints (PCs) to clinicians as needed.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Benefits Verification, Benefits Investigation, Claims, Copay Assistance, or Pharmacy.

  • At least 1 year of data entry experience, including profile creation and medication knowledge.

  • Prior pharmacy experience is a plus.

  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

  • Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to take a typing test.
