Naval Aviation Advisor, Lead

Promote a Naval Aviation client's vision and mission by providing insight and advice concerning the strategic direction and application of up-to-date standard practices to achieve forces ready to deploy. Act as a senior advisor to the government and provide support to the customer on program or project status and operations. Assess the adequacy and acceptability of evolving program or project plans and change management strategies and mold processes and operations to improve customer business methodologies. Facilitate engagement between Naval Aviation stakeholders to address challenges and issues for resolution. Formulate long- and short-term management plans designed to achieve preferred outcomes by applying knowledge of management principles, Naval organizational structures, and data and information management techniques. Analyze in-place business, operational, and financial processes and management relationships to identify and recommend programmatic modifications and process improvements. Design program or project plans, guidelines, and controls and lead and perform tasks that apply both practical expertise and theoretical, state-of-the-art, and technical Naval Aviation knowledge and expertise.
Basic Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience with Naval Aviation in complex and technically demanding projects or task environments
- Experience as a senior commissioned naval officer
- Experience as operational command of an aviation squadron
- Experience with Naval Aviation Maintenance and Supply chain management
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with Aviation Major Command preferred
- Master's degree preferred

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,000.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
