The Safety Desk Supervisor (SDS) isresponsible for the provision of safety services to Driversrequesting assistance.

Responsibilities:

  • EnsureRSS’s operate in strict compliance with the contract between BPSand Transdev
  • Maximizesassets by efficient assignment of RSS's and Radio Cars to ensureadequate planned assignments are completed in a timely andefficientmanner.
  • Dispatchemergency responders (Police/Fire/EMTs), asnecessary.
  • Ensure allnotifications are completed accurately, promptly, documented anddispersed to the properparties.
  • Ensure timelyfollow-up and documentation is provided writing skills asneeded.
  • Ensure staffare proficient with all equipment (radio, lap-top & safetyvehicle) and applications, instruct asnecessary.
  • Demonstrateand ensure professional radioprotocol.
  • Conductmonthly inspections of vehicles and associatedequipment.
  • Maintainprofessional communication with BPSDOT, TD Operations andMaintenance, schools, public safety officials, andparents.
  • Followprotocols and best practices to ensure smooth operations andseamless transitions betweenpersonnel.
  • Attendmonthly meetings to review performance objectives employeeconcerns.
  • Attendtraining courses whenrequired.
  • Ability towork in a high paced environment and be able to make quickdecisions.
  • Followcompany policies andprocedures.
  • Performother duties asassigned.

Education,Licensing, and CertificationsRequired:

  • HighSchool diploma required or equivalent, such as aG.E.D.

ExperienceRequired:

  • Aminimum of one (1) year of transportation dispatching and/orcustomer serviceexperience.

Skillsand KnowledgeRequired:
