Job Title: School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Location:Lexington, NC

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support K-12 students with speech and language disorders in a school setting. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct therapy services, document progress, and collaborate with school staff to improve students' communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy sessions as outlined in students treatment plans.
  • Assist in the implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs).
  • Track and document student progress.
  • Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and parents to support student success.
  • Maintain compliance with school district policies and state regulations.

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field.
  • Valid NCSLPA license/certification.
  • Experience in school or pediatric settings preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow treatment plans and work independently under supervision.
