Senior Database Engineer will learn from the retiring senior DBE about the mission GOTS applications and database structure in order to support this mission. The Sr DBE will provide technical expertise for existing databases supporting our applications. This person will translate requirements, assist with recommendations, analysis, and evaluation of improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance.

Security Clearance Requirements:

This position requires candidates to be U.S. Citizens and possess a TS/SCI Security Clearance with an appropriate Polygraph

Qualifications

Required Education & Years of Experience

  • Ten (10) years’ experience as a DBE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
    • Five (5) years of DBE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

The candidate must currently possess and maintain one of the following certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert - Database (MCSE - Database), or
  • Microsoft Certified IT Professional - MS SQL Svr (DBA 2008), or
  • IBM CASA Lotus Notes/Domino (LND).
