TheCoordinator team member plans,directs and supervises team members in the day to day operations oftheir respective department area. Delivers exceptional customerservice by managing the day to day ordering, receiving, stockingand displaying of related products to maximizeprofits.  Maintains departmentcleanliness and adheres to all food safetyprocesses. 

EssentialDuties &Responsibilities

  • Assists inscheduling, staffing selection, and hiring to achieve staffingneeds
  • Promotes succession planning by providingcareer paths, identifying development needs for their respectivedepartments team, and being involved with and accountable forpromotion decisions
  • Supports disciplinaryactions and makes recommendations concerningdischarge
  • Attain P&L budgeted goals,achieving sales, labor and margin plans for thedepartment
  • Reviews sales goals, supply costs,stock loss/shrink results and goals
  • Modelsexceptional, fast and friendly customerservice
  • Reviews Customer Survey and customerfeedback from previous day or week
  • Prepares,packages, stocks store and display merchandiseappropriately
  • Price changecompliance
  • Food safetycompliance
  • Ordering of manual ordereditems
  • Supervises, trains and manages theirDepartment Team in the absence of the Dept. Managerto:
    • Stock (including washing, bundling andtrimming) rotating, and merchandise facing products according todepartment procedure
    • Ensure all inferior out ofcode products are not sold and removes fromdisplay
    • Ensure all products are accuratelypriced and sales prices are maintained and up todate
    • Provides consultation to customers whenneeded regarding consumer products
    • Execute adset compliance including signage
    • Ensure thebackroom is neat and organized
    • Meet or exceedsales floor conditions expectations in respectivedepartment
  • Ensures theirdepartments team members are thoroughly trained in all aspect oftheir jobs and have completed all requiredtraining
  • Promotes a safe workenvironment
  • Reliable and consistent attendancerequired
  • Proper usage of production planner andfresh dashboard
  • Other daily tasks asrequired

Educationand Experience

  • High schooldiploma or its equivalent required 
  • 2-3years of related retail experience
  • One year ofmanagement experience
  • Previous experience in anatural foods industry is aplus.
