Responsibilities
The selected candidate will have the expertise in programmatic compliance of system developments and operational activities. Tasks shall include, but are not limited to the following:
- Track Sponsor's day-to-day technical operations schedule.
- Establish and implement a process to track progress of various Sponsor projects and collaboration partners (both internal and external to Sponsor).
- Track projects utilizing specific accesses and ensure targeting sets between programs and other mission centers are being exchanged.
- Develop and maintain program management processes and procedures.
- Develop and maintain configuration baselines and change management processes.
- Validate, document, and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Develop and maintain integrated operations schedules and ensure programs follow those schedules.
- Drive and inform future technical decisions with information gathered from Sponsor's mission partners.
- Support requirements development, verification, and traceability.
A typical SI may also:
- Develops and implements solutions integrating applications across the enterprise or its units/departments.
- Evaluates existing components or systems to determine integration requirements and to ensure final solutions meet organizational needs.
- Integrate diverse systems, networks, and servers to achieve overall aims.
- Troubleshoot and debug system issues to increase performance and quality of data.
- Document and create visual representations of systems and their inputs and out.
- Optimize maintenance and deployments to ensure integrated functioning.
- Partner with delivery teams to proactively ensure system integration, verification, and validation.
- Provides recommendations with respect to requirements management activities; Generates reviews, revises, updates, and maintains configuration.
- Assists development, quality assurance, and engineering.
- Functions as the technical liaison with change control processes and authority.
- Collaborates with engineers, development, users, and management to coordinate changes.
- Identifies model elements and documentation required for systems design, development, test launch, and operation.
- Defines and implements the applicable level of configuration management for configuration items.
- Ensures traceability of the design by linking and/ or delinking requirements across multiple artifacts.
- Prepares configuration management activity / status reports and metrics for project meetings and reviews.
- Audits configuration items to verify conformance with specifications, drawings, and interface control documents.
- Analyzes impacts to systems performance, sustainment, and supportability of the systems during all stages of the acquisition life cycle.
- Plans, prepares, and executes configuration management activities and products in support of required audits and milestone events.
The SI may be required to travel to other locations within the WMA.
The SI will be subject to an additional security review process requirement that can take up to 6 weeks.
Qualifications
- Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
- Minimum of ten years of experience performing these systems integration services for a government customer with more than one stakeholder.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience providing operational engineering support to a government organization focused on bolstering the Government's intelligence advantage.
- Expertise in creating and managing configuration baselines and change management processes.
- Experience applying program management processes and procedures
- Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative, fast paced environment with a willingness to assist and support teams.
- Strong analytical abilities and skills in organizing, planning, communicating, and executing project management tasks.
- Ability to create and maintain integrated operations schedules.
- Expertise in requirements development, verification, and traceability.
- Ability to analyze and prioritize tasks, solve problems, work several tasks concurrently, and efficiently manage a high volume of emails, develop fluency with online tracking tools rapidly and effectively.
- Interest in and ability to learn technical cyber threats and mitigations.
- Proven ability to work independently while also coordinating, collaborating, and liaising with appropriate stakeholders.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with officers at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated good judgment, initiative, and critical thinking ability to take action to execute mission by leveraging networks and drawing on multiple areas of expertise.
- Ability to translate technical information and communicate it to a non-technical audience.
- Self-starter with strong initiative and follow through.
DesiredQualifications:
- Prior experience supporting the Sponsor's operational mission.
- May also have a related technical undergraduate degree.
- Preferred Mandarin language capabilities
- Expertise in materials and supply chain risk management, communications and microelectronics.
