As an Autonomous Systems Expert, you'll be part of a fast-paced team environment, working with advanced technologies from across the field of autonomy. You'll maintain knowledge of advances in autonomy and robotics capabilities in industry and academia, and leverage technical expertise to evaluate and improve AI/Autonomy system performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing thought and team leadership centered around autonomy/AI technology adoption on robotics hardware and cloud-based computing environments
  • Developing, proposing, and leading research in the field of autonomy and AI
  • Working on topics in robotics-relevant fields, such as computer vision, deep learning, machine learning, planning, human machine teaming, and multi-robot systems
  • Helping the department and division execute strategy around enabling high-consequence applications of Autonomy, including necessary assurance, T&E, and societal implications

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering Physics, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering, or a similar field. You'll also need experience in robotics-relevant fields, familiarity with the state of the art in the field, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. An advanced degree in a technical field and experience leading technical or project teams are also desirable.
