Outpatient Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Adventist Health Castle (AHCS) seeks an outpatient full-time, mission-minded, team-oriented, certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), to join our mental and behavioral health team in Laie. The PMHNP-BC will work independently as an integral member of a close-knit team of peer physicians and NPs, to provide psychiatric clinical care to patients. AHCS offers a full range of services to adults including anxiety, depressive and psychotic disorders. All mental and behavioral health care at AHCS centers around multidisciplinary teams that include a psychiatrist, nurse practitioner, case manager and mental health technician. Minimum Qualifications: Completion of an accredited graduate-level program that produced a master’s degree in clinical nursing or nursing science in relevant field of specialty. Current Hawaii Registered Nurse License. Current Hawaii Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License with prescriptive authority that meets education requirement(s) for Hawaii state APRN prescriptive authority. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. Two (2) years nurse practitioner experience or equivalent nursing experience. Prefer three (3) years NP experience or equivalent in behavioral health in an acute care and clinic setting.
Candidates must have Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certification (PMHNP-BC), Hawaii licensed or eligible, and meet the hospital’s medical staff credentialing standards.
