Operations Research Analyst, Senior

The Opportunity:

As an operations analyst, you’re passionate about exploring the root cause of an issue and then analyzing, reporting, and developing recommendations for a creative solution. We need an experienced research analyst like you to help us solve complex problems for our clients. On our cyberspace operations assessments team, you’ll evaluate and use data assessment strategies such as sampling, statistical analysis, evaluation, flow processing, and management assessment strategies to aid better decision making to deliver solutions.

You won’t go at it alone, you’ll work alongside industry experts to conduct research, prepare graphs and charts, and analyze and interpret programmatic or cost data such as cost and benefit analyses, risk analyses, economic analyses, and operational effectiveness studies. Once documented, you’ll develop briefings, presentations, written documents, charts and graphs to present results, collaborate with stakeholders, and participate in various program meetings to improve program efficiency.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience as an operations research analyst or data scientist

  • Experience preparing detailed assessment reports that represent data as useful information and ensure the analysis presents meaningful results

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Computer Engineering

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience interpreting policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and objectives and applying operations research principles and techniques to analytic needs

  • Experience advising and collaborating with stakeholders to evaluate data, optimize data usage, and promote information sharing

  • Knowledge of cyberspace doctrine, policies, plans, operations, and organizations

  • Ability to exhibit a general degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness during the conduct of research, development, and preparation of documents, briefings, and analyses which may include narrative, tabular, and graphic materials

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
