Location: Millersburg, OR

Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist looking for a rewarding full-time position in Millersburg, OR? Join our dedicated team and play a crucial role in supporting the developmental and functional needs of students throughout the entire 2024-2025 school year.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' sensory, motor, and cognitive abilities as related to educational performance.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and treatment plans to address students' occupational therapy goals.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services, including therapeutic activities, sensory integration techniques, and adaptive equipment recommendations.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' educational goals and promote inclusion in the school environment.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention strategies as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Educate and train school staff, parents, and caregivers on strategies to enhance students' independence and participation in school activities.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Oregon.
  • Experience in school-based settings preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
