Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our team at Soliant Healthcare. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and addressing students' occupational therapy needs, developing personalized intervention plans, and educating and training families and caregivers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Comprehensive Evaluations: Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of students' occupational therapy needs to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Develop Individualized Intervention Plans: Create personalized intervention plans to address each student's unique needs and goals.
  • Educate and Train Families and Caregivers: Educate students and their families about occupational therapy, its benefits, and effective management techniques to support student progress.
  • Collaborate with Professionals: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Provide Direct Therapy: Provide direct therapy to students in individual or group settings to address their occupational therapy needs.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain detailed and accurate records of student conditions, treatment plans, therapy sessions, and progress.
  • Participate in IEP Meetings: Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student support to ensure students receive the best possible care.
  • Stay Current with Best Practices: Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in occupational therapy to provide the highest level of care.
  • Supervise and Guide OT Assistants: Supervise and provide guidance to occupational therapy assistants as needed to ensure they are providing high-quality care.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy: Must have a master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in an occupational therapy setting is required.
  • State License or Eligibility: Must have a valid state license or be eligible for licensure.
